Ian Mapes, DDS

After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Dr. Mapes attended the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Mapes furthered his dental expertise and honed his skills in a post-graduate residency program at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina.

Dr. Mapes received advanced training in implantology, endodontics, oral surgery, IV sedation, and prosthodontics. He is dedicated to continuing education and has trained with some of the nation's most forward-thinking dentists in functional occlusion/smile design, as well as cosmetic orthodontics.

He understands that each person has a unique personality and unique dental needs and treats each patient as such. He appreciates that from the patient’s perspective, the dentist is getting about as up close and personal as anyone can get. For this reason, Dr. Mapes makes it his top priority to comfort his patients and put them at ease before beginning even the simplest procedure.
